Hello lovely people,

So continuing on with my skincare theme, I thought I’d share with you some products that I completely adore and use constantly. I am absolutely obsessed with LUSH (just as much as I’m obsessed with Riverdale and Cole Sprouse) and can not ever get enough of the amazing products LUSH have to offer!

They offer beautiful smelling, natural and handmade products at reasonable prices that can do wonders for all skin types, and its 80% vegan and its fully cruelty free! Now, as I have sensitive but combination kind of skin, I use a variety of products to help with my personal type of skin, these products may be a massive help to you or no help at all. I’ve always had a great experience while in LUSH stores, especially in my home town of Hobart, the friendly and helpful employees are filled with knowledge and are more than happy to help!

Lets get on to the haul!

Cupcake & BB Seaweed fresh masks

I love these facemasks because they are both so calming to my sensitive skin and they smell amazing! I use ‘Cupcake’ when my skin is more on the oily side, as it helps to control oils in the skin, soak up unnecessary oil and calm breakouts, if you have incredibly dry skin, I wouldn’t suggest using it, but its perfect for oily skin or combination skin if, like me, you sometimes feel your skin is more oily than usual.

The BB Seaweed mask I only just purchased recently, and its perfection! It’s a hydrating, skin softening and brightening facemask, with antibacterial properties like honey in it to help sooth and prevent breakouts. I use a face mask once a every week or two, as you need to give your skin a break every now and again.

Hair Custard & Popcorn Lip Scrub

Both these products are absolute beauties! Obviously, like all LUSH products, they smell freakin amazing! Hair Custard fights static and adds moisture to your hair, without weighing it down. The Popcorn Lip Scrub is one of my all time favourites, between that and the ‘fairy floss’ flavour of the lip scrub, you can never go wrong! The lip scrub gently exfoliates your lips and leaves you with beautifully soft lips.

Intergalactic Bath Bomb

I do apologise for the ‘half used’ look, but I do seriously adore this bath bomb. It looks like a mini galaxy in your bath, with refreshing smells of peppermint.

The Comforter Bubble Bar & The Big Blue Bath Bomb

So by now I’m sure you can tell I am a massive fan of LUSH and their incredibly good products, especially the scents. These last two are just as amazing, The Comforter Bubble Bar has a slight blackcurrant fragrance and is basically like a sheet of bubbles in a bath. The Big Blue Bath Bomb has seaweed and sea salt, which helps to exfoliate, soften and hydrate the skin.

I hope you enjoyed this LUSH haul today, remember to like and follow me if you’d enjoy seeing more posts like this!

Ashy Bines Squad Event 2017!

Hey lovely people!
On Sunday I was lucky enough to attended an event called Ashy Bines Squad! Now for everyone who doesn’t know who Ashy Bines is, she’s an amazing health and lifestyle youtuber, I definitely recommend you go check her out if you haven’t already!
Sunday’s event was amazing, and for Hobart, it was massive, because we usually get missed out when events like that tour. The event was a fitness and workout based event, Ashy’s vision for the tour was to bring together like minded girls in cities that can work together to complete their goals and motivate each other on the way.
The energy of the event was crazy! It was super high energy and so motivating, to be able to workout with like minded women who have similar goals to me, to feel comfortable and amazing in their own skin, it was so inspiring! The one hour event included a full body workout with cardio, aerobics, arms, abs and my favourite, booty and legs, with awesome music and a fantastic atmosphere, it was an awesome hour workout and was so worth going, even though I was definitely a bit sore the next day. We got free goodie bags, which included my favourite fake tan, Bondi Sands, and I also purchased a ‘squad’ top.
I hope you enjoyed this post, please like this post if you enjoy and would like to see more fitness related posts!

Skincare 101

Lovely people, let me let you in on a little secret. The secret to great skin, now it’s not some magical pill or wash that you use once and it makes your skin amazing instantly, let’s be real here, its all about a damn good skin care routine, an understanding of your skin, constant habits of cleansing and taking care of your skin, and lastly, diet and exercise.

Personally, I was lucky enough to be taught about taking care of my skin from the age of around 10 years old, I’m now 15, and couldn’t be more thankful for my mum teaching me those basic habits and skills for taking good care of my skin. When I first learnt about cleansing my skin, using a foaming cleanser every day and night seemed like a boring and tedious task, especially when I was extra tired, but I eventually pushed myself into a habit of doing it day and night, because I loved the way my skin felt after being cleansed, it felt so amazingly fresh and clean.
In the long term, those habits pay off big time. Although this is the main part of taking care of your skin, the other part is your diet and what you put into your body. Yes this may sound pretty silly and you may have heard it a million times, but with a good diet of nutritious food (with the occasional treats, obviously, I can’t stay away from peanut butter and Nutella) and lots of water daily to flush toxins from your body, you’re on your way to better skin.
Now, before I completely bore you to death, let’s get on to the basic products to use when looking after your skin, over the next few days, I’ll be posting products and tips for different skin types to hopefully suit your personal skin, as everyone is different.
Today I’ll be going through my personal favourites, I’ve experimented with loads of different products, with some good and bad outcomes, these products are my current favourites that work best for my combination skin. Combination skin is pretty straight forward, it can be dry or oily, or just in between with a good balance.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

Dermalogica Ultracalming cleanser

Dermalogica Active Moist Moisturiser

Natio ‘acne clear spots’ treatment

These products are a little pricey but so worth it, I have quite sensitive skin and the Dermalogica range isn’t harsh on my skin, I highly recommend it for anyone, their ranges cater to all skin types. Natio’s treatments and creams for acne and breakouts also work wonderfully with my skin, I use the ‘clear spots’ treatment on a daily basis, and also Natio is reasonably priced.
